VPN Discussion / is my vpn unsafe?

I only want one country for  my vpn so that i can get free nfl online so i got an ip address at freevpnaccess.com and they gave me an ip address and password. This isn't the software vpn so can someone tell me the difference in using vpn those two ways and is my method a dangerous one?
