VPN Discussion / vpn for firestick yes or no

i have a firestick with kodi and other streaming apps i have a paid vpn just wondering if i really need it i got it to stream and for privacy from isps is there people that dont use it for streaming should i keep using it? suggestions i heard you need vpn for streaming content
