VPN Discussion / VPN China Question
« on: September 18, 2019, 11:46:54 AM »
Hi there,
I'm an English teacher based in London. I teach English online to students who live in China. Up to now, I have been using the free version of Zoom to do this, but recently (maybe as a result of the trade war), Zoom cannot be used to communicate from outside China.
However, I have heard that the Chinese version of Zoom can be downloaded from within China and can still be used to communicate internally.
I've often used a VPN when I've been visiting China but does one exist that works the opposite way around?
Is there a VPN that can make it seem like I am in China (not London)?
Alternatively, can anyone suggest any other software or solutions?
Thanks, in advance.
