I would not recommend usng free vpn specialy for torrenting. Your privacy is not safe with free vpn services due to random publicly used ips. You can also try any paid but affordable vpn services for torrenting. Surfshark, PIA are some excellent vpn service providers for downloading torrents anonymously .

I doubt a free VPN is the right plan to make. You should go for a paid VPN that’s light on the pocket, since it’s way more secure. Especially if you’re going to use one for torrenting. As a matter of fact, free VPN providers usually log user data or sell them to third party websites, for criminating reasons. Always go for a budgeted VPN.
