I am completely knew to VPN so I am not sure on how to do all this. But I got several locations that I need to securely access using TightVNC from a central location. What would be the setup? Do I create different keys for each location? How can I create the ovpn files for OpenVPN?

Do you want to install a vpn server on all those locations or you just just want to secure your tightvnc connection ?

If you just want to secure your tightvnc connection then you just need a personal vpn account. The vpn provider will give you the ovpn files and keys.
